As a Junior Auditor, you will play a key role in audit teams in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will participate in the evaluation of internal controls and contribute to the delivery of value-added insights that enhance client operations, compliance, and governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in planning, executing and completing audit engagements across various industries and clients.
· Support audit teams through internal controls testing, walkthroughs, and documentation.
· Conduct fieldwork under supervision, including interviews, data analysis, and process reviews.
· Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies and potential risks.
· Coordinate audit activities for international or multi‑location engagements.
· Prepare audit working papers and contribute to audit reports.
· Collaborate with cross-functional audit teams on client engagements.
· Ensure all audit work adheres to professional standards and firm methodology.
· Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to senior staff.
· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
· 1–2 years of experience in finance, internal audit or external audit, preferably within a professional services firm.
· Basic understanding of internal controls, risk management and audit methodologies.
· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
· Team player with the ability to adapt to different industries and client environments.
· Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
· Fluency in English required; additional German or French are a plus.
· Commitment to continuous learning, supported by mentorship and development opportunities as part of a dynamic audit team.
