Celanese European Tax Team
You will be part of the Celanese European tax team and will manage the European Corporate Income tax compliance & reporting and tax planning. This person will report to the Sr. Director Tax, EMEA and potentially lead a team in the future.
Responsibilities
YOU will be involved in the following tasks :
Support the Global tax reporting team on the quarterly tax provisions by closely working with outside consultants
Manage with outside consultants preparing quarterly FAS 109 tax provision packages and review of the tax packages
Manage and update FIN 48 positions
Manage with outside consultants filings of corporate income tax returns in EMEA region
Manage tax account reconciliation, quarterly cash tax reporting
Manage the timely preparations and reviewing tax journal entries
Manage corporate tax accounts in SAP
Support tax planning projects with Business, Finance, Treasury and Legal
Support Transfer Pricing Department on TP adjustments
Support tax planning team on tax modelling and calculation of tax impact of tax planning strategies
Liaise with outside consultants
Qualifications
Tax accounting knowledge (FAS 109 / FIN48 / IFRS)
Team player
Accounting degree
English business fluent
Strong numerical skills
Attention to accuracy, and ability to work under time pressure while balancing multiple tasks
Strong communication skills
Proactive attitude
Strong analytical skills
Degree in tax is preferred
University degree with at least 7 years’ professional experience in tax accounting in a big 4 firm or in global industry firm
