OverviewPR & Influencer Specialist role focused on shaping and delivering communications strategy across Spain and Portugal with a strong emphasis on PR, influencer marketing and social media amplification for Sony's consumer business.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute PR campaigns aligned with business priorities (product launches, innovation, corporate reputation, partnerships, CSR) from ideation to delivery.Build and maintain strong media relationships across Spain and Portugal, including top-tier contacts in technology, business, lifestyle and consumer media.Develop and manage an influencer ecosystem: identify relevant creators, brief, negotiate and track performance.Plan and deliver PR-driven events and launch moments (press events, media briefings, influencer activations) ensuring high impact, attendance and media coverage.Turn business and product milestones into compelling stories with consistent messaging across media, influencers and social channels.Own the PR and influencer calendar, aligning with marketing and business objectives.Own and lead the social media strategy across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X etc.) in alignment with PR and influencer campaigns.Provide guidance to junior resources (e.G., intern) supporting day-to-day social media execution.Identify and secure speaking opportunities, events and partnerships to increase brand visibility and thought leadership.Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including agencies, partners and relevant organizations.Support crisis communications and issue management when needed.Manage budgets and external agencies, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution.QualificationsUniversity degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR or related field.4+ years of experience in PR, communications, influencer marketing or related field.Proven track record in corporate PR, media relations and campaign execution.Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns end-to-end.Experience defining and leading social media strategy and content direction.Strong storytelling and writing skills, translating complex topics into engaging narratives.Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends and analytics tools.Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders and aligning them around common objectives.Experience briefing and managing agencies and external partners.Proactive, hands-on and results-oriented mindset.Interest in technology, entertainment and consumer products.Fluent Spanish and excellent spoken and written English; Portuguese valued.LocationBarcelona office – Avenida Diagonal.
