They are looking for a System Owner to take ownership of its Clinical Trial Operational Data Repository (ODR). This is a key role at the intersection of clinical operations and data architecture, with a strong focus on shaping data solutions that support decision-making across clinical development.
In this role, you will help lay the technical foundation for a new generation of clinical systems and will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement and evolve a modern cloud-based data warehouse environment. Main Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation, evolution and maintenance of a cloud data warehouse solution (AWS & Snowflake) that supports operational and analytical needs across clinical trials
* Extend the current ODR by integrating data from newly introduced internal clinical trial systems such as EDC, CTMS, SSU, and eTMF
* Define and drive the integration architecture, data standards, and operating model for the clinical trial data landscape
* Ensure full alignment with regulatory standards, particularly regarding data integrity, privacy, and security (GxP and similar)
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and data governance functions to ensure smooth system setup, configuration, and compliance
* Act as a key partner to leadership and stakeholders, supporting strategic decisions through reliable and harmonized data access
Core Skills/Experience
* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics)
* Solid professional background (10+ years) in data architecture, preferably with hands-on experience in clinical trial systems or healthcare data environments
* Strong working knowledge of AWS and especially Snowflake. Familiarity with Oracle databases is considered a plus
* Deep understanding of industry data standards and how they apply within clinical settings
* Experience with regulatory frameworks, particularly GxP
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and drive alignment across departments
