We’re looking for a Senior Product Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team in building innovative, scalable, and high-quality software products.
Your Role
As a Senior Product Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of managers to ensure the design, development, and delivery of commercial software products. You will play a key role in defining technical direction and ensuring that projects are aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Reports directly to the Country CTO and is part of the Technology Leadership Team.
* Is the ultimate owner of all technical work within a full Business Domain (Accounting and Tax).
* The products in the domain are part of a broader Product Suite, and the candidate will be one of the key contributors to its definition and evolution.
* The position’s direct reports are a group of Engineering Managers.
* Through this team of managers, the candidate holds final responsibility for the effective operation of the teams within the domain.
Technical Oversight
* Guide the team in solving complex technical challenges and making architectural decisions.
* Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance, and best practices.
* Oversee the adoption of modern frameworks, tools, and DevOps practices.
Project & Product Delivery
* Drive the successful delivery of software products from concept to deployment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, and UX.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Communication
* Act as a key liaison between engineering and senior leadership.
* Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Align engineering efforts with business strategy and customer needs.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
* Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Proficiency in software development, including APIs, automation, and modern frameworks.
* Experience with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
Leadership & Management
* Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.
* Skilled in people management, including delegation, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
* Experience in agile methodologies and iterative development.
Strategic Thinking
* Ability to align technical execution with business objectives.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
