Your Role: Reporting to the Global Head Total Rewards & HR Digitalization, the General Compensation & Mobility Partner drives Siegfried’s global compensation and mobility agenda to attract, reward, and retain top talent while fostering a high-performance and transparent pay culture.
The role manages and supports global compensation and mobility programs ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and compliance worldwide. As a trusted partner to HR and business leaders, this position combines analytical expertise and collaboration to deliver practical solutions, build capability through training and guidance, and lead or support key global projects in compensation and mobility that strengthen Siegfried’s Total Rewards strategy and employee experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation Frameworks & Processes:
Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Siegfried’s global compensation philosophy, job architecture, and grading structure.
Manage and execute annual compensation processes including budgeting, data validation, analysis, and post-cycle reviews.
Participate in the design, modelling, and delivery of global Short-Term Incentive (STI) and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) plans.
Provide analytical support and recommendations for salary offers, promotions, and retention actions in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
Conduct market benchmarking using external survey data and maintain Siegfried’s pay structures and market positioning.
Partner with HR Digitalization (HRIS) to ensure accurate system setup and data integrity for all pay cycles in Workday.
Support the execution of pay equity analyses and the implementation of pay transparency standards across Siegfried’s geographies.
Global Mobility:
Manage the administration and governance of Siegfried’s global mobility programs, including short-term and long-term assignments, and permanent transfers.
Provide advisory support to HR teams and managers on mobility policy interpretation, cost estimates, allowances, and relocation packages.
Coordinate assignment management with external vendors and ensure compliance with global tax and social security requirements.
Maintain visibility on Siegfried’s global mobile population and ensure accurate data and reporting of mobility costs and compliance indicators.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
Lead or support global compensation and mobility projects, such as:
Job architecture implementation or updates
Incentive plan redesigns or harmonization
Pay equity and transparency initiatives
Mobility policy review and governance improvement
Contribute to process digitalization and automation projects in collaboration with HRIS, Finance, and Legal.
Identify opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and innovation within compensation and mobility processes.
Business Partnering, Awareness & Enablement:
Act as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners and site HR teams on compensation and mobility topics.
Deliver training, workshops, and communication materials to strengthen awareness and understanding of global pay and mobility frameworks.
Provide guidance and consultation to managers and HR on compensation decisions, internal equity, and assignment packages.
Support change management and communication activities related to new Total Rewards initiatives and process changes.
Contribute to building a culture of pay transparency, fairness, and reward education across Siegfried.
Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and maintain compensation dashboards and analytics to support leadership insights and decision-making.
Partner with Finance and HR to ensure accurate accruals, cost modeling, and reporting.
Support the preparation of data and insights for the annual Remuneration Report, ESG reporting, and DE&I; pay metrics.
Your Profile:
Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits, or International Business.
Work Experience:
Required:
At least 5 years of experience in Compensation, Mobility, or Total Rewards within a multinational organization.
Proven experience managing or supporting annual compensation processes and/or international mobility programs.
Preferred:
Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing industry.
Exposure to job architecture, pay equity analysis, or global HR system implementation (e.g., Workday).
Technical Skills:
Required:
Strong analytical and data modelling skills.
Experience with compensation surveys and market benchmarking methodologies.
Working knowledge of global mobility taxation, relocation, and immigration processes.
Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools (preferably Workday).
Preferred:
Experience with mobility or compensation management systems.
Understanding of pay transparency regulations and global compliance trends.
Knowledge of incentive accounting principles.
