The Role
The Senior Project Manager oversees complex projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements while leading project teams and engaging with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Project Oversight: Manage multiple large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication among team members.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates, gathering feedback, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
* Resource Management: Determine and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure project success.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress, conduct performance reviews, and implement quality assessments to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
Requirements
* Experience: At least 5‑7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
* Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is typically required; a graduate degree may be preferred.
* Certifications: Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are highly valued.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project performance and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
* Languages: Professional level English and Dutch.
