Implement tool upgrades and patches. /pp● Migrate legacy databases to the Cloud. /pp● Execute and translate into operational excellence the database architecture roadmaps and specific plans to implement them /pp● Database capacity planning, version upgrades and migrations /pp● Proactively monitor production database systems, analyze findings, formulate recommendations, and work with the database Architect to implement recommendation /pp● Ensure database standards are followed and implemented /pp● Usage of new database features /pp● Patch testing and deployment /pp● Performance and scalability goals /pp● High availability and disaster recovery goals /pp● Data security and protection /pp● Functionality, stress, and load testing /pp● Review procedures and technical documentation /pp● Work to meet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities, organize information and escalate issues appropriately /pp● Participation in multiple projects concurrently. /pp● Discuss designs and implementation with technical groups about /p pstrongEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE SKILLS : /strong /pp► 3+ years’ experience as an Oracle/SQL/Postgres/MySQL production and development DBA. /pp► Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure/etc) - Preferably Google Cloud Platform /pp► Scripting and tuning /pp► Linux /pp► DB Tools/Utilities (e.g., Toad, Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, RMAN, EXPDP etc.) /pp► Compliance and ITIL initiatives (SOX, PCI, etc.) /p pbr/ppstrongLANGUAGE : /strong /pp● Fluent English and Spanish (B2 Level) /p pbr/ppstrongWE OFFER: /strong /pulli· Full-time Freelance contract /lili· Rate: €240/€270 per day + VAT (according to the experience provided) /lili· Long-Term Project /lili· Location: Madrid – Hybrid (In-person 2 to 4 days a week) /lili· Desired start date: ASAP /li /ul
