Required skills and qualifications
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar; MBA or Master's in Finance is a plus.
* Solid experience in cash management, financing, accounting, financial control, and M&A processes.
* Deep knowledge of local and international financial and accounting standards (IFRS).
* Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex financial structures.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.

Tentamus Group, a leading multinational provider of analytical services for the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and environmental industries, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial activities across Spain and Portugal.
This role is critical to ensuring financial strength, regulatory compliance, and strategic support for operations in the region. The headquarters oversee the accounting and financial management of 13 entities, requiring monthly closings and reporting. This is supported by a strong and experienced team of 9 professionals, including accountants and controllers.

Primary Responsibilities
* Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management; ensure optimal use of financial resources and support strategic decision-making across Spain and Portugal.
* Ensure full compliance with local (PGC, SNC); lead audits, maintain strong internal controls, and oversee accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Lead and develop the finance team by setting objectives, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
* Support post-acquisition processes and lead the financial integration of new entities into the group’s structure.
* Act as a strategic partner to internal teams and senior leadership; manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, tax advisors, and global headquarters to ensure alignment with group goals.
