BASIC FUNCTIONS :
The Brand Manager will be a key participant in all aspects of CND brand management, leading programs and initiatives independently. Projects include brand strategy and positioning, marketing plan development and execution, agency management, media campaign execution, and new product diffusion. This role also involves significant analysis of sales and industry data, as well as budgeting and tracking.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and willing to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
MAJOR DUTIES :
1. COMMUNICATION
o Execute annual marketing plans across all platforms (multi-media, marketing/sales materials, digital, trade shows, education, and promotions).
o Work closely with Sales and Manager to recommend and execute effective promotional programs.
o Assist in executing new product launch plans and programs.
o Collaborate with internal/external design resources to develop sales/product communication materials.
o Represent global parties and assist in executing their marketing plans.
o Advise distributors and collaborate on their marketing strategy execution.
2. ANALYSIS
o Track brand support spending and monitor budget compliance.
o Forecast product demand and manage inventory levels.
o Generate and apply insights from monthly business analysis.
o Uncover category, competitive, and consumer insights and recommend actions.
o Gather and update product portfolio and pricing information on competitors.
o Analyze and set up pricing for CND portfolio.
3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
o Document progress and commitments in interdepartmental meetings.
o Participate in sales meetings, focus groups, and industry events.
o Manage new products, promotions, updates, and artwork changes.
4. Assist Manager/Director in developing and launching global brand initiatives.
5. Event Management
o Plan, coordinate, and execute education, marketing, and sales events.
o Manage event negotiations and budgets.
o Coordinate vendors and support teams for event success.
6. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
o Fluent English.
o Strong commitment, attention to detail, and excellent work habits.
o Understanding of marketing principles and salon distribution channels.
o Leadership, initiative, strategic and analytical skills.
o Creative thinking, flexibility, and multitasking ability.
o Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
