You will handle:
Operating, maintaining, and extending our highly available, heterogeneous platform.Ownership of the conception, technical design, installation, configuration, and clustering of PostgreSQL databases.Optimizing database performance through monitoring, profiling, analyses, and query and schema optimization.Serving as a consultant for software development teams and a partner for our database architect.Automating tasks using Ansible and Puppet, owning the entire stack from software to server hardware.Curating knowledge about our systems to support the team effectively.The role involves 80% private cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and 20% public cloud infrastructure.What you should bring:
At least 4 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration and RDBMS like Oracle or MS SQL.Knowledge of Ansible and Puppet, with experience managing heterogeneous server farms.Familiarity with containers, cloud environments, and testing your code.A passion for challenging tasks and continuous improvement.Linux expertise;
