Job Description:
Previous experience in procurement and purchasing, including supplier relationship management. Knowledge of procurement tools such as Coupa, Ariba, or others, as well as Microsoft Excel. B2/C1 English and Spanish level.
The buyer is located in the Fulfilment Centers (FC) and acts as the Procurement Representative to the FC. She/He manages relationships with Stakeholders/Internal Customers (Business Partners/Requesters) at the FC, ensuring site requirements are captured and formalized. Responsibilities include executing sourcing and tender processes or coordinating with Category Managers in Luxembourg. The role also involves acting as a first escalation point for local supplier issues.
Responsibilities:
* Understand business needs, justify requirements, analyze, and make recommendations.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with local stakeholders to influence spending decisions.
* Ensure compliance with company spending and transaction policies, educating stakeholders accordingly.
* Execute procurement activities, including sourcing new suppliers, contractualization, and managing tenders.
* Analyze offers, negotiate with suppliers, and support the implementation of catalogs.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities through contract analysis, partnering with Category Managers, and engaging stakeholders.
* Analyze spending patterns to optimize costs.
* Set up and monitor key performance indicators to provide reliable statistics.
* Manage vendors to ensure high service levels, including follow-up on contracts and performance.
* Ensure procurement processes and procedures are followed and improve them where necessary.
* Support national and EU-wide procurement projects, including tenders, cost optimization, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
* University degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields, with procurement qualification preferred.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a commercial mindset.
* Experience managing inventory, including auditing, forecasting, and planning.
* Problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive results.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience in a fast-paced, international environment.
