About the Role and Our Team
The Associate Editor creates and adapts content that resonates with our target audience, considering cultural, demographic, and market-specific trends, ensuring alignment with brand goals. Responsibilities include conducting research, outlining articles, producing SEO-driven content, identifying wedding and lifestyle trends, and updating existing content to enhance performance. The role requires familiarity with editorial processes, digital publishing platforms, and managing editorial calendars.
ResponsibilitiesWrite and produce original, SEO-driven articles aligned with brand goals.
Edit and refine content, develop new editorial initiatives, and expand existing content strategies.
Identify relevant wedding and lifestyle trends and pitch ideas.
Audit and update existing content for optimization.
Analyze content performance and conduct keyword research.
Ensure content adherence to editorial guidelines, brand voice, and best practices.
Collaborate with teams to create strategic content opportunities.
Conduct photo research and stay current on industry trends.
Participate in editorial meetings for planning and coordination.
Successful Candidates HaveBachelor’s degree in journalism or related field;
experience in online magazines is a plus.
Exceptional writing skills with 1-2 years of professional experience.
Ability to represent the brand and its values.
Experience in team collaboration and cross-functional projects.
Attention to detail, professionalism, and deadline orientation.
Understanding of SEO and keyword targeting.
Experience with CMS tools.
Good sense of design, style, and trends.
Medium-high English proficiency and communication skills.
Reside in Barcelona or nearby.
