Will have the primary responsibility to direct and execute the purchase of assigned categories of indirect spend, evaluate market conditions, and develop and execute the relevant Sourcing strategies.
Collaborates with other business areas and budget holders to identify their needs and potential opportunities. Manages supplier relationships and agreements.
Conducts continuous improvement initiatives with an emphasis on reducing both the total cost of ownership and the environmental impact of the contracted goods and services.
Role & Responsibilities :
Develop and execute the Sourcing Category Strategy for the areas of Indirect Spend within the scope of the job.
Manage supplier relationships through maintaining supplier scorecards, site visits (when applicable), day-to-day interactions, and regular review meetings.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify potential savings opportunities.
Develop and stay current on market intelligence for assigned categories of spend.
Be accountable for meeting Sourcing goals for assigned categories, such as cost savings, quality, payment terms, compliance with requirements, and risk management. Employ appropriate risk management tools.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 8 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and/or Operations.
* Procurement certifications and specific experience in deploying centralized Indirect Spend Sourcing in a multicountry company.
* Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
