Our primary objective is to connect pet parents with pet sitters and dog walkers. Beyond that, we develop strategic customer-centric go-to-market plans to engage and retain our pet parents and sitters.The Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for enhancing the customer messaging experience across email, mobile, and web, contributing to the overall end-to-end customer journey and experience.Who We’re Looking ForRover is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Programmer to work with the team on our Care Provider Communications strategy, helping execute messaging across each lifecycle stage (Acquisition, Engagement, Retention), and deploying messages via our Email Service Provider Platform. The role involves collaborating with the entire Lifecycle Marketing strategy team & stakeholders to define project scope, plan, and ensure timely delivery through effective communication, risk management, and project oversight.You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a strong communicator. You enjoy working with goal-oriented teams and continuously seek to improve your marketing skills.This role will temporarily report to the Sr. Director, Lifecycle Marketing.ResponsibilitiesExecute Care Provider Lifecycle Journey campaignsManage end-to-end lifecycle provider channel production, including coding, deployment, and analysis of campaigns using ESPs like Iterable or Salesforce Marketing CloudDevelop complex and responsive HTML email templates adhering to industry best practicesModify and troubleshoot email code as neededPerform QA on campaigns and ensure emails render correctly across platformsCoordinate with creative teams on campaign assetsWrite scripts for dynamic content, personalization, and segmentationCreate and leverage segments for deployment, using data within ESP platformsCollaborate with analytics teams for custom segment creationMonitor campaign performance and report on resultsStay updated on industry trends, new features, and AI developmentsAssist in creating and managing quarterly OKRs with the managerRequired Skills3+ years of Lifecycle and/or CRM experienceExperience managing email, push, and web campaignsProven track record of executing campaigns accurately and on scheduleExperience with large ESPs (Iterable preferred)Customer-focused with ability to create customer journey mapsAbility to organize and prioritize multiple projectsStrategic thinking and partnership skillsExperience with campaign tracking and analysisStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAttention to detailSelf-motivated in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of current lifecycle marketing trends and practicesCollege degree or equivalent experienceBonus SkillsExperience in social, paid, and digital marketingBenefits of Working at Rover.ComCompetitive salaryPerformance-based long-term incentivesPermanent contractPension planMeal tickets via CobeeGenerous PTOPrivate health insuranceDiscounted gym membershipBring your dog to work and puppy timeSupport for pet adoption and platform creditsSnacks, fruits, and beveragesTeam activities and eventsRover values diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment.
