Product Owner – Data Projects (Volkswagen Digital:Hub)

Responsibilities
* Lead product management with a technical background in ETLs, SQL/NoSQL databases, data warehouses, data lakes, CI/CD, AWS, and monitoring tools.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify value‑driven use cases and develop micro MVPs in the first project stage.
* Model agile practices, facilitate agile rituals (including retrospectives), and coach the team on innovation.
* Prioritise the roadmap and prepare new features for development in alignment with VW business partners.
* Plan large‑scale MVPs for the second stage and roadmap future AI developments.
* Present new developments, educate teams, and foster a positive atmosphere and strong team cohesion.
* Inspire stakeholders and the team, ensuring clear understanding of vision and roadmap.
* Create a feedback culture enabling honest, constructive communication.
* Collect requirements, conduct user research, analyse market needs, and maintain a prioritised backlog.
* Break down features into MVPs and release incrementally.
* Act as the bridge between business and development, translating needs into actionable requirements.
* Support decisions with data, metrics, KPIs, and OKRs.
* Use monitoring tools proactively, respond to failures, and notify stakeholders promptly.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
* Experience shipping successful products, including vision, strategy, outcome‑driven roadmaps, and backlog management.
* Proficiency in Agile environments and Scrum methodology (SAFe is a plus).
* Ability to articulate and test product hypotheses.
* Demonstrated influence on decision‑making across diverse contexts.
* Skill in prioritising product features.
* Collaborative experience with engineers, designers, and business teams.
* Fluency in English and/or Spanish;
German is a plus.
* Technical knowledge or experience in data engineering.
