The Key Account Manager Spain will be part of the South Europe sales team.
br
brThe objective of the Key Account Manager is to develop the market and grow profitable sales in the designated territory;
brThe Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key decision owners, laboratory personnel and physicians in the targeted hospitals and laboratories;
brA successful Key Account Manager will focus on growing profitable sales and achieving overall sales objectives as well as other defined performance metrics.

brAccountabilities/responsibilities
brHe/she will be responsible for :
brEnsuring sales volume, revenue and product mix and meeting the agreed business plan in own territory and engage with other Key Account Managers to meet common team goals;
brMonitoring sales performance and devise corrective action plans where necessary;
brDeveloping, maintaining and executing an annual business plan for the territory;
brMaintaining Key Account plans to maximize business at major accounts.
brKeeping all customer records accurate and up to date using the Company CRM (Salesforce) regularly;
brMeeting and exceeding projected sales targets;
brAttending Sales Meetings and when required, organizing and attending local exhibitions.

brProfile requirements
brA Bachelor degree in a scientific orientation is preferred or equivalent through experience;
brKnowledge of the diagnostic market, preferably molecular diagnostics and/or pathology is required;
brBroad understanding of work flow in pathology labs;
brSelf-starter, experience in working independently with little direct supervision;
brCapable of developing and executing business plan in assigned region;
brBusiness oriented with good local market knowledge;
brGood complex solution selling skills;
brStraightforward communication; able to engage healthcare professionals in meaningful dialogue;
brExcellent presentation skills and negotiation skills;
brGood interpersonal skills combined with the ability to make an impact;
brKnowledge of tender signing regulations, CE IVD regulations, GDPR;
brFluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
