About the Position
The Polymers and Soft Matter Group (PSMG) at CFM is offering a predoctoral position (1+1+1 years) starting around 01/06/2026 to work with Dr. Alberto Alvarez Fernandez on the development of modular sensing platforms based on mesoporous thin‐films prepared via block copolymer self‐assembly.
Funding and Salary
The positions will be funded by the MODUS RYC-MaX 2024 project. The selected candidate will be hired by Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas - CSIC. The salary will be 18.635 euros during the first year before taxes.

Requirements
* Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferably in the field of Soft Matter.
* Expertise in polymer synthesis or nanostructuration will be highly appreciated for this particular position.
