Application Production Support
ASTEK Iberia is looking for an Application Production Support specialist to join a leading company in the banking sector. You will play a key role in ensuring system stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical banking systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Production support for core banking applications and application maintenance (corrective and evolutive).
- Deployments, testing, and obsolescence management for new projects and SaaS solutions.
- Handling user requests and internal client support, including product usage, configuration, software updates, and third‑party integrations.
- Managing tickets via ServiceNow and JIRA, working under ITIL methodology and ensuring SLA compliance.
- Performance tuning, root cause analysis, and root‑cause analysis.
Technical Environment
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux.
- Databases: SQL, Oracle.
- Tools & Technologies: ServiceNow, JIRA, Dynatrace, PowerShell, Autosys, CyberArk, Citrix, HVD.
- Collaboration tools: Teams, Outlook.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Production/Application Support.
- Experience in banking or other critical environments is highly valued.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Oracle (basic‑to‑intermediate DBA level) and Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience with ITIL framework and SLAs.
- Good level of English.
- Availability to work one day a week at the Madrid office.
