You will play a key role in bringing these experiences to life across email, SMS, and push channels. Using Oracle Responsys, you’ll build, test, and optimise digital communications that deepen supporter connection, drive fundraising results, and ensure every message reflects our brand, purpose and commitment to vulnerable children and communities around the world.
Max Term Contract to end of September 2026
In this role, you will:
- Build, configure, and deploy supporter communications using Oracle Responsys across email, SMS, and push
- Apply dynamic personalisation, data-driven logic, and automation to deliver impactful journeys
- Maintain and enhance responsive templates using HTML/CSS and scripting (RPL or AMPscript)
- Conduct rigorous QA testing to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with privacy and spam regulations
- Drive joint initiatives with content, data, and fundraising teams to translate supporter insights into seamless digital experiences
- Analyse campaign results, identify trends, and recommend creative and technical improvements
- Contribute to platform governance, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the Digital Communications team
Who you are
We are looking for someone with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be open to mentoring and peer to peer learning and be versátil and adaptable.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in email marketing, digital communications, or marketing automation
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Responsys (or similar enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign)
- Expertise in optimizing Outlook VML within HTML to ensure accurate rendering of email campaigns in Outlook
- Strong HTML/CSS and scripting skills for personalisation (RPL, AMPscript, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL for audience segmentation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of email and SMS compliance, privacy, and best-practice QA
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for crafting high-quality digital experiences
- A team mindset — collaborative, proactive, and always looking for smarter ways to work
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field
