We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Analyst to join our team in Barcelona.
In this role you will work at the intersection of science and technology, defining data driven solutions that support innovation across the global Life Sciences and Healthcare ecosystem.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline, such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Pharmacy, Computer Science or similar fields relevant to the role.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or solutions analysis, including at least 2 years in Life Sciences or scientific or regulated environments.
3. Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and aligning deliverables with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
4. Proven experience in requirements analysis and defining technical solutions with engineering teams.
5. Proven experience managing end to end analysis activities and contributing to final decision making with product managers and technical leads.
6. Experience working with cloud based platforms and Agile delivery teams.
7. Strong proficiency in oral and written English.
It would be great if you also had
8. Experience with AI‑supported SCLD tools.
9. Experience mentoring or guiding other analysts.
What will you be doing in this role?
10. Lead requirements gathering and analysis with Life Science stakeholders, translating scientific concepts into clear and actionable technical requirements.
11. Assess existing and proposed solutions, define solution options with tech leads and collaborate on data models, system flows and overall solution design.
12. Create and maintain Agile oriented documentation, including functional and non functional specifications, and ensure accurate post deployment updates.
13. Work closely with cross functional teams such as product, engineering, QA, UX and architecture to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria and support delivery quality.
14. Contribute to portfolio level planning by supporting business cases, prioritisation and identifying synergies across initiatives.
15. Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge sharing within the Solutions Analysis community.
About the Team
16. You will be reporting to our Manager, Solutions Analyst (Life Sciences & Healthcare) based in Barcelona.
17. We are a global team of more than 20 colleagues located in Spain, UK and India.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent full‑time role at 40 hours per week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid, requiring attendance at our Barcelona office (near Sagrada Familia) 2–3 times per week.
