As the Head of Sales for CMC in Spain and Portugal, you will lead and develop the CMC retail business and manage the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and SCM teams to achieve the sales plan for both countries. The office is located in Barcelona, and you will report directly to the Director of Sales International CMC Group in Sontheim (Germany).
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
* Lead the Spanish CMC organization and its activities with a team of 6 employees.
* Develop the retail market potential in Spain and Portugal.
* Manage private label and brand businesses.
* Engage in international business development as part of the CMC Group.
* Advance the strategic and conceptual development of the Private Label Business.
Operational:
* Oversee all market activities to increase revenue and profit sustainably.
* Plan annual revenue and profit targets with the team.
* Manage sales prices and negotiations.
* Ensure Private Label projects are completed within timelines.
* Identify market developments and convert them into profitable opportunities.
* Manage customer relationships.
Requirements:
* Deep knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese retail sectors, including supermarkets, discounters, drugstores, perfumeries, and other beauty channels.
* Significant experience scaling up business and managing large retailers.
* Conceptual and innovative thinking.
* Pragmatic and hands-on approach.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English; German and Portuguese are a plus.
