A growing and well-established restaurant group is looking for a Chef / Sous Chef to join one of its flagship restaurants in the United States. This is a key culinary leadership role within a high-volume, quality-driven concept, ideal for a professional passionate about Spanish cuisine, product excellence and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and/or lead the daily kitchen operations in a high-volume environment
- Ensure consistency, quality and presentation standards are met at all times
- Supervise, train and motivate kitchen teams, fostering discipline and collaboration
- Work closely with senior management to align culinary execution with business objectives
- Monitor food cost, waste control and purchasing processes
- Manage inventory and supplier relationships to ensure product quality and availability
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and local regulations
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates when required
Profile We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as Chef or Sous Chef in full-service, high-volume restaurants
- Strong background or clear exposure to Spanish cuisine
- Experience managing and developing kitchen teams
- Solid understanding of food cost control, escandallos and kitchen KPIs
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Very high level of English is mandatory ; Spanish is a strong plus
- International experience or experience working abroad is highly valued
- Hands-on mentality, leadership skills and strong work ethic
