Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Robotic Safety Engineer (m/f) to join our Industrial Safety team in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team integrating H&S in a systemic and systematic way to ensure Airbus industrial performance. As part of the Industrial Asset Management and Safe Shopfloor Environment team, you will act as an H&S Specialist for the Industrial System within the Manufacturing Engineering community, integrating H&S systematically.

Key responsibilities:
* Support, defend, and guide the team and projects technically.
* Manage the budget (> 1 M€).
* Support change management of the H&S Roadmap through education, communication, and training.
* Create standards and processes for H&S business integration.
* Ensure end-user involvement from concept to serial production and continuous improvement.
* Manage subcontractors when needed.
* Develop efficient design and co-design for industrial systems considering human factors.
* Capitalize on experience, knowledge, methods, and tools; disseminate standards, policies, and best practices.
* Support compliance with regulations and safety policies.
* Define safety specifications for machines/systems.
* Assist suppliers and teams in managing robotic safety aspects throughout projects.
* Assess Safety Concepts and Architectures.
* Participate in site tests, qualifications, and validations.
* Monitor emerging safety technologies.
* Contribute to internal tools development.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
* 5 to 10 years in machine safety design, especially electrical safety.
* Experience in risk analysis and CE marking.
* Proficiency with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuits, PLC programming, Lock-Out/Tag-Out processes.
* Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
* Experience with deployment and analysis of machines in China and the USA is a plus.
Robust experience in:
* 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive
* ISO 10218 Robots and robotic devices – Safety requirements for industrial robots
* ISO 13849-1 Safety of machinery – Safety-related parts of control systems
* ISO/TS 15066 Robots and robotic devices – Collaborative robots

Salary range:
€50,000 to €60,000 per year (including performance-based variable pay). This is indicative.
