Enterprise SFCC Architecture & Strategy
Define, own, and evolve the enterprise-level Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture for retail platforms. Lead the creation of commerce platform strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives. Design and review scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions using SFRA, ISML, JavaScript (server & client), HTML, and CSS. Establish and enforce enterprise standards, frameworks, and best practices across retail programs. Retail Digital Commerce Transformation
Architect and optimize end-to-end retail commerce capabilities, covering merchandising, catalog/content management, pricing, promotions, loyalty, personalization, cart, checkout, payments, and order management. Enable seamless omnichannel retail experiences, ensuring integration across web, mobile, and in-store systems. Modernize legacy systems and drive adoption of innovative commerce technologies. Integrations, Headless & Composable Commerce
Design architecture for integration with ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, CDP, payment gateways, tax, shipping, and third-party platforms. Lead adoption of headless and composable commerce models, utilizing OCAPI/SCAPI, APIs, and microservices. Own integration patterns, data models, security frameworks, and resiliency strategies. Technical Governance & Leadership
Act as the SFCC technical authority and subject matter expert across programs. Review and approve solution designs, architecture diagrams, and code for quality and compliance. Mentor and lead architects, developers, and engineering teams. Collaborate closely with business leaders, product owners, UX, QA, and operations teams. Drive performance optimization, conduct security reviews, and lead scalability planning. Support complex UAT cycles, production launches, and resolve critical escalations. Qualifications
10+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) and digital commerce. Expert knowledge of SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Proven expertise in commerce architecture, platform scalability, performance optimization, security, CI/CD, DevOps, and release governance. Strong experience with Business Manager, multi‑site, and multi‑locale configurations. Extensive background in Retail IT/Digital Commerce ecosystems. Deep understanding of retail merchandising, catalog hierarchies, promotions, pricing strategies, loyalty programs, and order‑to‑fulfillment workflows. Experience designing solutions for high‑traffic, general retail platforms. Strong strategic and architectural vision. Ability to influence and engage senior business and technology stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities. Demonstrated leadership in governance and decision‑making within complex, large‑scale retail environments.
