Primary duties include invoicing, generating and submitting taxes, and preparing financial statements and reports.Reporting to the Manager of Accounting and Tax Compliance, you will work closely with the wider accounting team to contribute to business growth.The role is based in Barcelona with a hybrid working model.Key responsibilities :
Manage a portfolio of clients autonomously, acting as the main contact and escalating issues when necessaryHandle client invoices and bank statements in line with accounting obligations, ensuring checks are madePrepare and present annual accounts and official books for clients’ portfolios independentlyPrepare and file tax returns and informative declarations to relevant authoritiesRespond to requirements from the administrationCollaborate with other departments on cross-impact itemsSupport team tasks and assist junior members on complex mattersFollow company quality standards and processesIdentify and detect business opportunities based on client profilesAttributes and Technical Skills :
Ability to work effectively in a teamOrganizational and planning skillsFlexibility and adaptability to changeProactive and analytical mindsetStrong attention to detailMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleExperience managing multinational clients is highly valuedEducation and Professional Qualifications :
Degree in ADE/Economics or similar;
candidates with CFGS inAdministration and Finance are also considered. Suggested degrees:
Administration and Finance, Law, EconomicsComprehensive knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations, including VAT, IRPF, IS, and Spanish General Accounting PlanHigh proficiency in EnglishProficiency in Spanish for communication with authoritiesGood knowledge of accounting management software;
