Position: L1 SecOps Operator Location: Madrid, Spain (60% onsite at office, 40% remote)Duration: PermanentDescription:The L1 SecOps Operator will support day-to-day activities of the Security Operations (SECOPS) team, including configuration, operation, and monitoring of security tools, user and access management, and ensuring proper updates, documentation, and adherence to operational procedures.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, maintain, monitor, and operate security tools to ensure high availability service levels.Execute routine tasks such as health checks, log reviews, service alert triage, and basic troubleshooting of security systems.Manage incident response workflows, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely resolution in coordination with engineering and architecture teams.Operate and support cybersecurity tools and platforms to protect the organization’s digital assets.Scope of Work:Two types of SOW:BAU: Operate, maintain, and provide KPIs.Projects/Initiatives: Participate in deployments.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or security operations, operating security tools.Strong technical knowledge of security tooling and ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Service Request, Event Monitoring).Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux distributions, MacOS workstations).Networking knowledge and experience with networking tools/protocols.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and hybrid models.Proficiency in project/operation management tools (Jira, Confluence) and KPI/SLA reporting.Hands-on experience with security products and managed security services, including:EDRWAFNACVulnerability scanning and managementSecure email solutionsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Fluent in English (C1 level, oral and written).
