The German Pension Insurance Saarland, as the regional provider of statutory pension insurance and supplementary miners' insurance, is looking to strengthen its IT team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Develop, support, and maintain applications and programs
* Prepare, monitor, and execute test work for software release updates
* Create and maintain system documentation
* Collaborate in working groups, project teams, and the pension insurance competence center
* Create database queries and searches using SQL
Qualifications
* Completed technical or university studies in computer science or a related IT field, or equivalent skills and professional experience
* Experience in developing JEE applications (development environment: Eclipse; build tool: Maven; version management: Git; plugins for Checkstyle, PMD, FindBugs; servers: JBoss and Websphere)
* Knowledge of COBOL, XML/JAXB, or C++ is advantageous
* Knowledge of relational database systems (e.g., Oracle) and SQL
* Basic PC skills in Windows environment
* Knowledge of Linux
* Willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with new work areas and methods
* Willingness to undergo an extended security check (SÜ2) per Saarland Security Check Act
* Independent, goal-oriented working style
* Ability to develop solutions independently and work well in teams
* Willingness for continuous professional development
* High commitment, reliability, resilience, communication and teamwork skills, strong organizational and planning abilities, initiative, and sense of responsibility
* Availability for remote work outside normal hours and weekends in exceptional cases
