WHAT WE ROCK AT!
As consultants and creators, we work with our clients as equals—and with each other, too. You’ll find short decision-making paths, flexible room for action, and plenty of space for your ideas and personal growth. Whether trainee or board member, your nexian colleagues are real personalities who learn from one another every day through open exchange on challenging topics and grow beyond themselves together. They are moms and dads, travel enthusiasts, music lovers, headbangers, nerds… What unites us? We are people with team spirit, strong self-motivation, and enthusiasm for digital topics. Curious? Then take a look and get to know a few faces. UX/UI roles are currently evolving worldwide: AI, LLMs, MCPs, new prototyping approaches, and vibe coding are changing how we design—and what we design. This is exactly where you come in. You can expect short decision paths, plenty of creative freedom, and a team eager to try new things and question the status quo. WHAT WE OFFER...
Further development is a top priority for us. Whether in our own nexum Academy, internal workshops, external training courses or certifications. We support and promote your individual growth! We give you the opportunity to exchange professional ideas with your colleagues in competence teams, exciting customer projects and a supportive team in a dynamic environment. The result counts! Because we know that sometimes you have to be spontaneous, we offer flexible working hours and mobile working. We work with modern tools and processes so that we can do our work efficiently and enjoy ourselves in the process. Of course, this also applies to hardware. Mac or Windows? Take your favorite! What else there? In our Valencia office, you will work closely with our local developers and at the same time be part of the nexum UX/UI team, which is connected remotely with designers from Germany. Together, you will design digital products for international clients – with high design standards and a focus on realistic project implementation. We are looking for someone who is motivated to work in this cross-location setup and actively collaborate with local development teams and remote designers. WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
Discovery You bring structure to complex projects – right from the start. With your experience, you ensure that we solve the right problems. You clarify goals, target groups, requirements and constraints with clients and stakeholders – and bring structure to vague briefings. You analyse the status quo and identify specific potential for optimisation. You plan and moderate discovery workshops and create alignment on scope, priorities and success criteria. Together with project management and development, you develop a sensible approach and can realistically estimate costs. You develop a design direction, explore solutions through exploratory approaches and give visual development a clear direction early on. You use modern tools – including AI – specifically for analysis, ideation and prototyping. Realisation & delivery You translate requirements into clear and scalable solutions – conceptually and visually. You develop viable information architectures and user flows, while also considering edge cases. You create high-quality UI designs with a high level of detail: high-fidelity screens, responsive variants, components and patterns. You confidently transfer brands to the digital realm – with clear typography, grid systems, consistent spacing and scalable design systems. You ensure that good designs are also implemented cleanly. You create structured Figma files with clear component logic and comprehensible specifications. You work closely with development and content, provide precise feedback and ensure design quality until release. You confidently present solutions to stakeholders, organise feedback and lead discussions to reach good decisions. In doing so, you maintain a balance between visual excellence and pragmatic economic efficiency in projects – for our customers and for nexum. In short... You are a senior UI/UX designer with extensive project experience, interested in modern working methods, an international setup and exciting projects.
Your focus is on
UI-
design, but you also think holistically about UX and UI.
You translate concepts into finished interfaces, give convincing presentations and work closely with development and business stakeholders.
