Order to Cash Capability Development Senior Expert
1. Location: Barcelona
The O2C Capability Development senior expert reports to the O2C Transformation & Capability Development Lead and is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining the Order to Cash Academy. This role plays a critical part in expanding operational and strategic knowledge across Sanofi's O2C organization and partner functions. The position focuses on designing comprehensive learning programs, developing training materials, and ensuring continuous capability enhancement across the full Order to Cash scope (Customer Invoice to Cash and Order to Serve processes). Working closely with subject matter experts, key-users, operational teams, and key stakeholders, this role ensures that O2C capabilities are systematically developed and sustained to support the organization's transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
O2C Academy Development & Management
2. Design, build, and maintain the Order to Cash Academy as a comprehensive knowledge and learning hub
3. Develop curriculum and learning paths for different roles and levels within O2C organization
4. Create and maintain a library of training materials, process documentation, and knowledge resources
5. Establish academy governance, standards, and quality assurance processes
6. Define and track academy KPIs and measure learning effectiveness
7. Continuously evolve academy offerings based on business needs and feedback
8. Manage academy platforms, tools, and technology solutions
Training Program Design & Delivery
9. Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new O2C team members
10. Develop role-specific training programs for all O2C processes (Credit Management, Collections, Cash Application, AR Closing, Customer Master Data, Pricing, Claims & Disputes, Order Management)
11. Create training materials including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and process guides
12. Coordinate and deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person) across global hubs
13. Develop train-the-trainer programs to build internal training capacity
14. Support transition and deployment activities with targeted training interventions
15. Ensure training alignment with BOOM methodology and Business Operations standards
Capability Assessment & Development Planning
16. Develop capability development roadmaps aligned with transformation objectives
17. Design upskilling and reskilling programs to address identified gaps
Knowledge Management & Documentation
18. Coordinate knowledge management framework for O2C processes
19. Develop best practice repositories and lessons learned databases
20. Ensure documentation is accessible, current, and user-friendly
21. Implement knowledge sharing mechanisms (communities of practice, forums, event)
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership
22. Partner with O2C operational teams, retained organizations, and hubs to understand capability needs
23. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop accurate and relevant content
24. Build relationships with partner functions to ensure cross-functional awareness
25. Engage with Business Operations learning teams to leverage enterprise resources
26. Work with external training providers and vendors as needed
27. Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve offerings
Change Ambassador Network Support
28. Support the development and maintenance of K-users and change ambassadors network in partnership with GPLs and BSO teams
29. Provide training and resources to change ambassadors
30. Coordinate knowledge sharing sessions and community events
31. Enable peer-to-peer learning and collaboration across the network
Performance Tracking & Reporting
32. Track training completion rates, attendance, and learner satisfaction
33. Measure learning effectiveness through assessments and competency evaluations
34. Report on capability development progress to O2C Transformation & Capability Development Lead
35. Analyze training data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
36. Maintain training records and compliance documentation
Experience:
37. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Capability Development roles
38. Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, GBS/Shared Services, or Finance Operations environment preferred
39. Proven track record in designing and delivering training programs at scale
40. Experience building learning academies or centers of excellence would be an advantage
41. Strong Knowledge of Order to Cash, Finance, or Business Operations processes is highly desirable

43. Excellent content development skills (presentations, e-learning, documentation)
44. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
45. Project management skills to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
46. Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences
47. Ability to translate complex processes into clear, accessible learning materials
48. Stakeholder management and collaboration skills across matrix organization
49. Analytical skills to assess capability gaps and measure training effectiveness
50. Creative problem-solving and innovation in learning approaches
51. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
52. Excellent communication skills – written and oral
53. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
54. Adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced transformation environment
Education:
55. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related field
56. Certification in Training & Development, Instructional Design, or Learning & Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) would be preferable
57. Certification in e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.) would be an advantage
58. Knowledge of BOOM methodology, Lean, or Six Sigma would be beneficial
59. Languages: Fluent in English
