Everything you are looking for and moreThe Depot Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality home deliveries and pick ups, as well as service at Pick-up Points (PPs). The role focuses on optimising depot operations, leading teams, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence and service quality.What responsibilities and objectives will you have?- Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and regulations across all depot operations.- Coordinate and oversee daily depot activities, identifying opportunities for optimisation of human and material resources.- Lead, motivate, and support teams, fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative working environment.- Encourage continuous development and performance improvement of team members.- Define, implement, monitor and analyse KPIs for the depot, teams, and carriers.- Manage and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and performance reports.- Ensure full operational readiness (“mise en place”) for new customers and operational changes.- Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.- Guarantee high-quality standards in deliveries and pick-ups, both at home and at Pick-up Points (PPs).- Ensure operational efficiency, performance consistency, and continuous improvement at depot level.Well, what will the requirements be?- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics or transport environments.- University degree or higher vocational training related to logistics, transport, operations, or similar fields.- Strong knowledge of logistics and operational project management.- Proven experience in people management and team leadership.- Solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills.- Good understanding of labour law, health & safety, and transport regulations.- Advanced level of English (mandatory);
