The Workshop Technician is primarily responsible for the correct repair of customer and Stryker equipment, as well as movement of stock between repair status areas, handling of incoming calls into the department, restocking of consumables and liaising with the Customer service team. The Workshop Technician will utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of loan equipment and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment. The Workshop Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the overall status of Stryker equipment. The Workshop Technician improves quality by offering suggestions, acting to meet customer’s needs, implementing Quality/Process improvements, and following standard work to deliver on Stryker Technical Services.

What You Will Do
1. Manage daily workload within the workshop to meet demand plans and customer needs
2. Ensure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner as defined by the Team lead or Supervisor
3. Work with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipment
4. Responding to customer and internal queries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
5. Support Team and Individual continuous improvement initiatives to drive higher standards of efficiency and quality
6. Provide reporting and documentation on all aspects of work within the workshop
7. Assist with ERP Data entry, quoting and repair of customer equipment
8. Maintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development
9. Ensure that Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agents
10. Ensure that the department's performance of services is ISO 9001 compliant
11. Provide Technical support for both internal and external customers
12. Ensure efficient maintenance of the spare parts stock and participate in the realization of the required annual inventories
13. Provide reporting on repair, departmental or customer activity using the appropriate systems available
What You Need
14. Fluent in Local Language as well as minimum B2 level of English
15. Educated to degree level is preferable with experience in at least one of the following:
16. Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
17. Service and maintenance of medical equipment
18. Vocational Training
19. Qualifications & experience:
20. Previous experience of maintenance and repair of medical equipment preferred
21. Experience ERP systems and data entry
22. Full Driver’s license
23. Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
