Due to the growth of our business, we are looking for a
Senior PHP Backend Developer
to join our team. You will be responsible for developing our core business payment backend applications in collaboration with your agile team partners. This role offers a highly technical environment with challenging service interactions and payment protocol implementation.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work with product managers to design, develop, test, and implement solutions using an iterative and agile development methodologyCollaborate closely with the design team to build reusable code and modulesIdentify gaps in the backend core services layer to achieve desired functionalityAnalyze business requirements and determine technical feasibility of implementationsDesign and perform unit and integration testingDebug and fix defects found during continuous integration of iterative application buildsCoordinate with peer developers and release teams for code reviews to ensure standards and qualityProvide engineering support for customer issues and general problem solvingMaintain and improve the quality and the test suitePayXpert Benefits

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similarBootcamp and/or Computer Science related study;
Master’s degree is a plusAt least 5 years of experience as a PHP backend developerExperience in the payment industryStrong knowledge of REST-based backend technologiesDeep understanding of development tools:
git, Gitlab, Redmine, Docker, CI/CDGood written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Java / Spring Boot is a big plusEnglish language proficiency at a good technical level is mandatoryJoin Us
