Experteer Overview In this role you will drive the Nova Digital Shelf initiative, delivering end-to-end capabilities from backend services to user experiences. You will collaborate with UX, product, and engineering leadership to refine scope, iterate with prototypes, and enable data-driven decisions for digital commerce growth. You’ll integrate AI components and ensure scalable, reliable delivery within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. - Own end-to-end development of Nova features (backend integrations to frontend experiences)
- Collaborate with UX/Product and leadership to refine requirements and delivery sequencing
- Provide accurate estimates, manage dependencies and risks to keep delivery predictable
- Design robust backend services, APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems
- Build high-quality frontend apps with emphasis on usability, performance, accessibility
- Define API contracts and data models for cross-component integration
- Act as technical anchor for the squad, review designs, mentor others
- Maintain code quality, automate testing, contribute to CI/CD, observability and release practices
- Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; manage incidents and root-cause analysis
- Stay current with full-stack and platform technologies and bring pragmatic innovationResponsabilidades
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience collaborating with data engineers, BI engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- Experience with Elixir or comparable functional languages or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Azure, AWS)
- Understanding BI tools and ML integrations within products
- Experience establishing or improving engineering best practices
- Exposure to data science or ML-enabled features via APIs or pipelines
- Experience with clean architecture, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code reviews
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving scope
