is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.What will you do?Mission of the roleDrive an effective and efficient support process in close collaboration with our vendors to the benefit of our business stakeholdersManage the IT demands in accordance with the overall IT Schneider Digital StrategyParticipate in global projects across Region Europe. Ensure local involvement as well as local adoption of the solutionProvide functional specification of smaller change request. Be the bridge btw Business and our partners/vendors.Establish good relation with Stakeholders and Key Users within own perimeterKey ResponsibilitiesEnsuring operational stability and efficiency across the support model.Driving an effective support process.Being accountable for critical incidents management.Managing the operational and functional lifecycle of IT subjects in the perspective of end-to-end business processes.Following and managing local projects or enhancement realization.Clarifying needs expressed by users and validating requests.Transforming user requests into understandable demands for solution partners.Following up on the quality and testing of final solutions with vendors/solutions and business partners. - Local and Global Projects:
Delivering local and global projects within the DevOps scope (Finance and Controlling).Prioritizing projects and activities to fit Schneider Digital priorities.Managing and challenging project demands from the business and ensuring they are driven forward by suppliers or other Schneider Digital teams.Working closely with global capabilities owners and understanding new evolutions within the perimeter to promote the re-use of available functionality.Acting as the contact person for suppliers (DTC team) within FICO activities.Establishing sound relationships with functional key users and other key stakeholders.Ensuring that business needs are correctly taken into account by other teams/vendors and providing regular reports on demand.Setting up regular service follow-up meetings with the business and providing information about new evolutions/projects/enhancements.Following up on action plans to address issues and business needs.Securing and mastering application management and ownership, including technical debt reduction.Ensuring data quality, knowledge of costs, and L2 support.Maintaining key documentation in the app repository, including high-level architecture diagrams, clear contact & escalation matrix, and constant control for the inflow of new applications.What qualifications will make you successful for this role?Education:
Academic degree from a technical universityKnowledge in financial processesCertificationsKnowledge on SAP FICO.SAP PS & CS is a plusJob RelatedExperience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP system in a fast-moving, highly-critical, enterprise application environmentSignificant experience and knowledge of systems design, test and implementationExperience and background in financial processes in a medium size/ large companyAbility to describe/translate business requirements into IT requirementsUnderstanding of transversal processesTechnical SkillsSkills with SAP ECC/S/4 HanaBroad IT knowledge and experienceSolid knowledge and understanding of ITIL best practice and can convert this into improvements for daily operationsCoordination of resources, leading small teamsPrevious experience from similar industries is an advantageSoft SkillsSelf-driven, operationally experienced Business Relationship Manager with a can-do attitude.Strong relationship builder - both internally in Schneider Digital and business as well as with external partnersExcellent Communication skills, professional courtesy, keeps calm at stress levelsStrong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sourcesHas experience working with others on a global basisWillingness to learn more about IT, technologies, SAP/ERPWhat will you get?We adapt to you:
