Sales Manager (Spain and LATAM) – Drone-based Power Line InspectionsLocation: Spain (Madrid preferred) | Hybrid/Remote | Travel across Spain (potentially LATAM) and regular visits to Gothenburg HQ and Paris officeAre you passionate about cutting-edge technology and ready to lead a groundbreaking European initiative? Airpelago is uniquely positioned for further growth in Europe thanks to their proprietary software for end-to-end power line inspections, scalable operations, and clear strategic focus.Role DescriptionAirpelago’s customers are grid owners, or more specifically Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs). The Sales Manager drives new business growth by identifying, engaging, and securing strategic customer accounts. With a focus on new customer acquisition, this role targets the expansion into Spain as a priority and the LATAM region in a second phase. You will lead outreach initiatives, attend industry events, and cultivate relationships with DSOs and TSOs.The role is based in Spain and will be a part of the French Airpelago subsidiary (SAS) in Paris. It allows for remote work with occasional travel required to meet clients across Spain and LATAM region, and encourages regular travel to the Paris office and Gothenburg HQ. This role is instrumental to Airpelago’s commercial success, contributing directly to revenue growth and market expansion. The French affiliate overseeing Airpelago/'s activity in the south of Europe is well established and rapidly scaling up. The sales manager in Spain will be supervised by the sales director based in Paris and will be in charge of building a strong market presence of Airpelago within the Spanish DSO and TSO asset inspection market.ResponsibilitiesAs the Sales Manager, you will be a driving force behind our success in Spain and LATAM. With support, expertise, and a playbook from the french affiliate and Swedish headquarters, your responsibilities will include:- Build, maintain, and expand a strong pipeline of qualified leads.- Lead outreach efforts to prospective clients via email, calls, events, and in-person meetings.- Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that demonstrate Airpelago’s value proposition.- Collaborate with the operations, product, and executive teams to shape customer proposals.- Track and report sales metrics, forecast revenue, and contribute to strategic planning.- Monitor market trends and identify new verticals or customer segments.- Support bids and proposals in public tenders where applicable.- Represent Airpelago at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.- Coordinate the deployment of Proof Of Concept project (POC) with new clients and assist the operations team in local logistics and communication with the client.Competences & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.- Fluent in Spanish and English.
