Senior Marketing Manager (Event & Promotion), Amazon Furusato
Amazon Furusato, the marketplace for Japan's Hometown Tax Program (Furusato Nozei), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead promotional and event marketing initiatives. This role requires building marketing momentum from scratch in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive promotional and event marketing strategies that create multiple entry points on‑Amazon and off‑Amazon to drive awareness and customer engagement
* Lead end‑to‑end campaign management including incentive programs, seasonal promotions, and communication creative strategy across multiple channels
* Collaborate extensively with Legal, PR, Public Policy, Product, Sales, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
* Build scalable marketing frameworks and innovative engagement programs that support business growth, analyzing performance to drive data‑driven optimization
Basic Qualifications
* 6+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience
* Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
* Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
* Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs
* Experience leading go‑to‑market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
* Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
