ZYMVOL is a biotech company specialized in the design, development and application of molecular modeling software in the discovery and development of new industrial enzymes.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual for a position as Human Resources Manager, reporting directly to the COO. The position will be a part-time role (20 hours /week) based out of our Barcelona office.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The HR Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with the company's goals and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. This role involves employee relations and professional development, while fostering a positive, high-performance culture across the organization.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Administer and oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with company goals.
* Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, while promoting a fair, respectful, and compliant work environment.
* Oversee performance appraisal programs to support employee development, enhance engagement, and drive overall productivity and alignment with company goals.and productivity.
* Identify training and development needs and create programs to address skill gaps.
* Monitor and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time to hire, and employee satisfaction.
* Manage HR budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Required qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Spanish employment laws, and regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or HRCI certification preferred.
* Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish (verbal & writing).
