Our client, a general large IT and Business Services company with more than 10,000 employees worldwide, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (English & German speaker) to lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for Europe.
Location: Madrid, Spain. Company: Large International Technology & Services Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for goods and services, including RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key categories, leading end-to-end esourcing activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic local and international vendors and goods and services providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and contracts to ensure value, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with IT, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices across regions.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Lead contract lifecycle management and support audits when required.
- Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 3-7 years of experience in procurement, focusing on goods and services sourcing in multinational companies and local markets.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex vendor negotiations and contracts.
- Experience working in international environments with cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of procurement tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba), and contract management platforms.
