Job Overview
Airbus Helicopters España, SA is offering an 11‑month internship in Spain as part of its Graduate Program. Candidates must be recent graduates or final‑year students in related disciplines and will begin the internship in early October 2026. The internship runs until 30 September 2027, combining full‑time work (40 h per week) with a Master’s program organised in training blocks and a study grant.
The internship is coordinated with Camilo José Cela University and takes place in the Digital Factory Team of the IM department. The team focuses on digital transformation, application lifecycle management and operational technical support for Airbus Helicopters projects worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Support and maintain the existing application portfolio (React/Angular, NestJS/Express, Java Springboot) to ensure optimal operational continuity for our users.
* Help develop and implement new features and automation tools using modern frameworks and possibly Google AppScript to meet evolving business needs.
* Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Project Managers and the DevOps & Security teams.
* Help manage technical projects from specifications to deployment, acting as a key technical point of contact within the team.
* Help coordinate operational topics and deliverables with external collaborators, including start‑ups and IT providers.
* Help contribute to the continuous improvement of application architecture, security standards and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* Experience: Initial experience in full‑stack development and object‑oriented programming, gained through personal projects, hackathons or previous internships.
* Soft skills: High adaptability to new technical topics, strong communication skills, team spirit and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
* Languages: Advanced level in English (daily working language). Spanish or French is a plus.
* Technical knowledge: Strong foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript (React or Angular, Node.Js/NestJS) and/or Java (Spring Boot). Familiarity with Cloud concepts and Google AppScript is highly appreciated.
* Desirable: A strong interest in long‑term career prospects within the team after the internship.
