Our current portfolio includes 40 renewable energy assets with a capacity of 2,048 MW, 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines, and other sustainable assets.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Quality & Environment Specialist to work with and strengthen our HSEQ team based in Seville's office.
Responsibilities
* Implement Company Quality and Environment policies and best practices in power generation, transmission lines, and water plant assets, coordinating this activity with the different Operation & Maintenance contractors.
* Perform audits and visits to assets in different countries to monitor the performance of operations and maintenance companies in implementing environmental permits, legal requirements, and best practices, procedures, standards, etc.
* Control & follow-up of Atlantica's integrated management systems based on ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001: procedures, audits, records.
* Develop environmental programs and best practices to improve corporate environmental performance and culture.
* Consolidate KPIs reported from different assets and develop PBI dashboards for proper information management.
* Coordinate with other departments and geographies of the company and provide technical advice in Quality and Environment.
* Investigate environmental incidents, develop action plans, and identify lessons learned.
* Create PowerPoint presentations for committee meetings, training sessions, etc.
* Manage Quality and Environment documents (records, reports, etc.).
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar
* Master's in Environmental Management
* Master's in Health and Safety (preferred)
* Fluent English (C1 or equivalent)

Technical Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in an HSE department or similar
* Experience in GHG calculation
