As a Senior Content Acquisition Manager within Prime Video, your passion for films and TV drives your mission to identify the best content to attract, engage, and retain our customers in Spain and Portugal. You will leverage deep analytical skills to evaluate content acquisition opportunities both qualitatively (what, where, from whom) and quantitatively (how, when). Your insights will support the content team and inform leadership decisions, with a focus on continuous improvement through data analysis using XLS and SQL.
Your strong communication skills enable you to present clear, well-argued recommendations, considering alternatives and counterarguments. You take ownership proactively, sharing your insights across teams and territories. Additionally, you will manage expectations effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key job responsibilities
* Advising on the Portuguese catalogue within Prime Video, contributing to content planning, budgeting, and acquisition recommendations for Prime Video Leadership.
* Supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and launch of film and TV series to meet Prime Video's goals.
* Building analytical models to demonstrate the value of titles.
* Setting and supporting performance targets for the content category you oversee.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to translate business problems into analytical tasks and communicate results to a senior audience.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Proficient in data analysis, identifying patterns to solve problems.
* Experience with SQL queries and data export.
* Familiarity with database programs, tables, and CRM systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience supporting large-scale contract negotiations.
* Experience in licensing third-party media content.
* Background in the audiovisual sector in Portugal.
* Fluent in Portuguese.
