In your role as Industrialization Manager for our medmix industry products segment / site you will oversee the industrialization process of new products, automation projects, and relocations, ensuring their efficient integration into production. Your team of dedicated experts in process and industrialization engineering will support you achieving your goals.
Responsibilities
Lead industrialization projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination across different departments
Plan and manage investments in molds, automation, and other high‐value assets to improve efficiency and achieve production targets
Analyze current and future capacities of the machines and propose modifications of them to be effective, efficient
Search and implement improvements in machines and processes to make them more efficient, as automation technologies
Supervise the design, development, and implementation of new molds, ensuring compliance with production requirements and quality standards
Manage the acquisition and integration of plastic injection molding and automatic machines into the production process, ensuring correct installation and performance
Validate new products, molds, and materials according to required standards
Select engineering suppliers and support negotiations and conflict management
Keep all documentation updated (flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, SOPs) according to the latest processes
Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
Extensive experience in manufacturing and industrialization processes in injection molding
Experience in automatic assembly projects, line relocations, new molds, new machines, and automation technologies
Proven record of first leadership experience managing midsized teams
Experience with LCM, material changes, and validations
Proficiency in executing IQ/OQ processes
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, Six Sigma, and Lean Management
A project management certificate could be an advantage
Fluency in English and Spanish
