Responsibilities
Job Description We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented Airport Supervisor to oversee and coordinate airport operations, ensuring an excellent welcome experience for our clients and a smooth transfer service. This role plays a key part in leading the airport team, supervising daily operations, and acting as a link between airport staff, transfer providers, and management.
* Coordinate and organize the reception and welcome of clients at the airport, ensuring a high-quality service experience.
* Coordinate and support airport–hotel and hotel–airport transfers, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and operational requirements.
* Organize, coordinate, and lead the team of Airport Transfer Assistants, providing clear guidelines on how to act in different operational situations and daily challenges.
* Lead the team during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient airport operations.
* Supervise staff performance, including:
o Punctuality and attendance (check-in and check-out records).
o Mandatory use of uniform and correct use of company equipment.
o Resolution of staff-related incidents, reporting all issues to the Operations Manager in line with company guidelines.
o Provide training and onboarding support to new team members.
* Receive and manage shift change requests from Airport Transfer Assistants, ensuring requests are properly documented and submitted to the Operations Manager for final approval.
* Ensure availability and correct functioning of all operational materials required for daily tasks.
* Report to the Operations Manager and the Traffic department any changes, incidents, or situations that may improve service quality.
* Report changes and incidents to transfer providers, always copying the Operations Manager and the Traffic department.
* Prepare weekly or bi-weekly reports
* Support the management of AENA airport accreditations together with the Operations Manager.
* Be available to provide assistance in emergency situations, including availability outside regular working hours when required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in airport operations, ground handling, transfers, or a similar operational environment.
* Proven experience supervising or coordinating teams.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* High customer service orientation and ability to manage incidents calmly and efficiently.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work shifts and provide support in emergency situations.
* Good English & Spanish level (additional languages are a plus).
