Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.
This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

Responsibilities
* Lead the convergence of key performance indicators (emissions, fuel efficiency, drivability, torque/power, NVH) in hybrid/diesel powertrain innovation projects.
* Define and deploy performance strategies across multidisciplinary R&D teams.
* Build and manage technical performance contracts with specialized teams.
* Conduct simulation activities and analyze results related to efficiency, performance, and NVH.
* Benchmark innovative powertrain technologies and competitor vehicles.
* Evaluate suppliers under RFI processes and support decision-making at early project stages.
* Prepare and present technical documentation and project status to top management.
* Represent the Customer Performance department in high-level internal and external meetings.
Qualifications
* A proven track record in managing powertrain performance convergence and leading innovation activities in the automotive sector.
* Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree, preferably with a Master’s or PhD in combustion engines.
* Excellent skills in simulation tools (AVL Cruise M, GT-Suite) and technical documentation.
* Strong competencies in transversal team leadership and strategic thinking, with a collaborative approach.
* Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
* Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; a good level of French and Spanish will be valued.
