We think and act like a 160-year-old start-up company. We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic e-commerce team as a contractor or freelancer. This role involves bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions, focusing on optimizing our digital commerce and online ordering platforms (both for customers and our partners) and customer experience. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, eliciting requirements, and leveraging data to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. The adecuado candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, strong problem-solving skills, and be an excellent communicator capable of translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Support the Product Owner by leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story preparation for one team.
· Analyze data and process flows to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
· Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and UX designers to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
· Provide initial training, documentation, and guidance to ensure successful adoption and product competence.
· Act as a brand advocate and communicate feedback to internal teams such as Product and Support.
Bachelor's degree in any field: what we would prefer to see is professional certifications in agile methodologies, UX or requirements engineering.
· Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, UX Researcher, Customer Success Manager or Onboarding Manager, ideally with SaaS experience.
· Proven experience working on platforms and digital products.
· Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis.
· Proficient in modern methodologies relevant to digital product management.

· Solid experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· JavaScript, Python, or SQL).

· Understanding of APIs, system integrations, or data modeling.
