You will work in a context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part a of large development organization with direct impact to the online business.As a central part of the Nespresso API community, you will bring deep expertise and knowledge, being the reference person for API design, implementation, adoption and maintenance. Metrics and security are key aspects for Nespresso, and you contribution will be valuable on these areas. You will guide and promote optimal use of APIs to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within the area of expertise.You will consolidate the Nespresso API roadmap, taking into account both the Nespresso Markets current needs and the extension of the API platforms from a product point of view.**A day in the life of...**:- Receive written business requirements and technical specification documents related to API usage and needs.- Analyze the requirements to understand if the current Nespresso API platforms already cover the requested use cases and guide the requestor during the adoption of the solution.- Analyze the requirements to understand if there are gaps to cover in the current Nespresso API solutions and liaise with development teams to define and plan the delivery of the increment.- Consolidated the Nespresso API roadmap, collecting information from different sources/teams.- Drive an API community with Nespresso Markets which already adopted, or are in the process of adopting, Nespresso API’s.- Coordinate the integration between different APIs and evolve them in alignment to a common strategy, even when different teams are involved.- Recommend, setup and follow best practices for API design and documentation and ensure their adoption.- Responsible for ensuring that all API solutions are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.**What will make you successful**:- Deep understanding about APIs value proposition as business enabler.- Experience running API operations (design, build, testing, security scans, monitoring, bug fixing) along the release lifecycle and in production.- Good knowledge about API design styles and conventions to keep a common design to all Nespresso APIs.- Clear understanding of the importance of API security and monitoring.- Willingness and/or experience acting as an API champion and API evangelist along the organization in order to support business ideas and projects and ensure successful API adoption.- Functional expertise to keep API documentation available and updated for all audiences (technical, functional, business).- An experience in large development teams & organizations (and virtual teams), with multiple delivery and organization models.- Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.- 5+ years of experience in the relevant area of expertise.- Experience in Scrum and Agile development methodologies.- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.Show us that you are an enthusiastic, curious, fast learner and team player person who is used to work with agile practices, results focused, service oriented with ability to lead and convince others in a networked environment.You have the ability to be versátil, self-motivated and make effective use of a multi-cultural, multinational environment distributed globally.
