We are currently hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global container liner company, for the position of Senior Executive Operations in Barcelona, Spain.

Operations Manager - Vessel Operations
Responsibilities include:
1. Inform about planned operational schedule changes, provide related documents, and support the vessel and crew.
2. Check and share berthing window/prospects and actual schedules with Lines/Stakeholders.
3. If the berthing window is not respected, renegotiate the schedule with the terminal.
4. Order gangs/cranes and communicate call sequence.
5. Coordinate husbandry/stevedoring services, order supply and other services (e.G., cash to master, sludge).
6. Provide cargo documentation to the vessel.
7. Follow, order, and coordinate services including mooring, bunkering, and departure.
8. Generate reports according to deadlines.
9. Manage and monitor terminal services.
10. Coordinate vessel sailing.
11. Alert Regional Operations, Lines, and Berthing Manager in case of incidents.
12. Monitor and report procurement of terminal services and husbandry.
13. Monitor ongoing operations, productivity, waiting time, and idle time, focusing on improvements.
14. Manage special events such as holds, customs inspections, damages, malfunctioning reefers, COD.
15. Provide hazardous data to authorities.
16. Coordinate POL loadings, upload load lists, and inform Cargo Flow for prechecks.
17. Follow-up on loading instructions and prepare cargo documentation.
18. Produce load lists and compare pre-stow with load list.
19. Follow-up cargo operations, manage shortfalls, and send summaries to customs.
20. Investigate discrepancies between Port Completion Reports and invoices.
21. Perform local/auxiliary tasks as needed.

Required Knowledge:
* Port processes, documentation, TTN tool handling
* MS Office applications and report preparation
