As the sr. manager financial control you are responsible for all financial processes, reporting and control duties of the Global IT services and Project / Program support.
It will involve exposure to a wide variety of business challenges, and therefore requires a certain level of understanding and experience with IT services and large project organisations. It is a high profile role where you will act as a business partner to the unit director and executive managers. Furthermore, the role entails maintaining first-rate working relationships with central functions and external stakeholders, and providing guidance and leadership to the controlling team. To be successful in this role you will need high energy, a getting things done attitude combined with a good sense of ethics, empathy and pro-active mindset.
In this position your key responsibilities will be :
* Responsible for all financial matters related to the planning & control cycle incl. budget, forecast and long term plan
* Ensure clear, accurate and timely reporting towards unit management, Central Group Functions, and external stakeholders
* Manage month-end closing processes responsible for accurately recording of expenditures, assets, liabilities, accruals and prepayments
* Lead the transfer pricing and cost allocation process and ensure accurate output
* Provide guidance and advice on technical controlling and accounting issues
* Manage operational risks and maintain internal controls, including their continued review
* Lead the team, provide coaching and manage knowledge ensuring adequate skill levels
* Ensure team complies to company policies and procedures
* Be a key member in leading multiple improvement initiatives and automation projects
What qualification should you have? The ideal candidate will have the following profile : Required qualifications :
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics or similar
* 3-5 years with relevant experience on this role
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Spanish is pre
* Experience in financial reporting, IFRS, processes and analyzing figures
* Excellent people manager experienced in coaching and establishing learning paths
* Good communication skills, able to influence and convince
* A results-driven positive personality with a focus on continuous improvement
* Eye for detail whilst seeing the bigger picture
* Extensive and demonstrable data tool knowledge. Knowledge of Oracle Financials and Power Query is an advantage
