Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large and complex data sets to support business operations (sales, web analytics, marketing…).
* Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive business insights.
* Develop and present comprehensive data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
* Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Review and oversee tasks performed by junior analysts, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
* Conceptualize, follow up, and deliver analytics projects, including definition of KPIs, creation and communication of insights, and project definitions for junior analysts.
Qualifications :
* Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales or business analytics role.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and technical leadership.
* Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale cloud data analysis frameworks.
* Proficiency in Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Ability to extract and translate business metrics and questions from data sets into well-documented and actionable insights.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
